Kevin drives a BMW i3 60Ah 2015 electric car.
This is Kevin’s first electric car, he’s owned the BMW i3 less than a year and drives under 5,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 40,000-50,000 miles and he achieves 80 miles from a full charge.
Why did you choose the BMW i3?
We thought it was time to go for an EV and the compact i3 with it’s agile handling and premium interior was our decision. It was a great choice for city driving, but it does have limited range and only type 2 slow charging which means we are forever looking for charging points. The suicide doors aren’t great in small parking bays but there is a relatively good second-hand market and we got a great spec for the price tag. Also, its unique design and quirky features are appreciated.
Positives
- Nice feel
- comfortable
- easy to drive.
Negatives
- Type 2 slow charging.
