‘KIA Soul First Edition’ unsurprisingly drives a KIA Soul EV First Edition 64kWh 2021.

This is KSFE’s second electric car, they’ve owned the KIA Soul EV from new and drive 5,000-10,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 10,000-20,000 miles and they achieve 260 miles from a full charge.

 

Why did you choose the KIA Soul EV?

Compact, well-specified & a value for money lease.

 

Positives

  • Nippy
  • economical
  • well-featured.

 

Negatives 

  • Nannying ‘safety’ aids that need switching off/on each journey
  • no frunk
  • poor OEM tyres.

 

Compared to when you first bought the car, does your battery still charge at the same rate & do you still get the same range?

Yes

 

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?

No

 

What are the standout technological features of the car?

  • Head up display
  • blind spot indication
  • regeneration easy to master.
