Mark Jeffery drives a Renault Megane E-Tech Launch Edition 63kWh 2022.

This is Mark’s first electric car, he’s owned the Megane E-Tech less than 1 year and drives 10,000-15,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 500-1,000 miles and he achieves 200 miles from a full charge.

 

Why did you choose the Renault Megane E-Tech?

The car is very smooth and refined with good integration of Google Assistant.

The adaptive cruise control is really clever and a real advance over standard. If you change to a faster lane, it will accelerate even if the car in front is closer.

 

What electric car(s) are you interested in next and why?

BMW i4 & Porsche Taycan.

myenergi zappi 2 – the car doesn’t always charge overnight (on a schedule), which can be frustrating.

 

Electricity supplier & tariff – outline both positive & negative elements

Octopus offer a cheap rate (especially for electric cars between 00:30-04:30).

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?

I’ve used bp, Shell, GeniePoint etc. I wish they all just supported contactless debit/credit card.
