Planning & preparation
None, just put the location into Google maps on my phone to check if I needed a charge en route (I didn’t) and sent it to my car so it would be preloaded for the trip.

Charging
Set car charge limit to 100% (instead of the usual 90%) on the home charger in readiness.

The EV itself
Polestar 2 dual motor has amazing performance and is rock solid in terms of grip and handling, so this journey was very easy and relaxing despite the weather being extremely poor. Made use of the assisted cruise control for the motorway but didn’t use ‘Pilot’ mode as I prefer to steer myself to stay alert.

Road trip conclusion
Easy. Trip completed in one run without a stop, arriving feeling fine. Fast, smooth and uneventful drive. Parked at NCP which has 5 destination bp pulse chargers so I plugged in overnight ready for a charge-free return journey the following day.
