Why did you choose this car?
Looks, build quality, interior and rarity (at the time). Nothing else compared. Tesla too bland, Kia too ugly, German rivals reporting too many teething issues.
Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this car.
- Instant power
- build quality
Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this car.
- Software is glitchy but improving
- charging infrastructure not a patch on Tesla and needs serious investment
- real world range at low temperature drops to nearer 200 miles rather than the claimed 300+ (which no one tells you about when you’re purchasing).
Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?
Car lost data signal for about 24 hours but fixed itself.
What are the standout tech features of the car?
Android Auto is great – I thought I would miss Apple CarPlay but I really haven’t.
Surprise us! Tell us something people wouldn’t readily know about this car.
The pop-up bag holder on the boot (which I thought was a gimmick) has turned out to be a revelation when grocery shopping. No more fear of stuff rolling about in the boot and complete freedom to enjoy the limitless power on the way home.

What car are you interested in next and why?
No idea – enjoying this one too much at the moment.
What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
SyncEV – no I wouldn’t recommend at the moment. Mine has had too many glitches and has broken down completely after just 2 weeks. I am told they had a faulty batch which will be remedied but I’m yet to be convinced.

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?
IONITY – fast reliable and always a good number at each site so availability good. Pod Point – mostly reliable and lots of them about but usually only a few units at each spot.
