Hyundai IONIQ 2020 electric car owner review

Chris Ballinger drives a Hyundai IONIQ SE 38kWh 2020.

This is Chris’s first electric car, he’s owned the Hyundai IONIQ less than 1 year and drives 5,000-10,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 20,000-30,000 miles and he achieves 225 miles from a full charge.

 

Why did you choose the Hyundai IONIQ?

The best in it’s car category for the year I purchased.

Great display on the car with Apple CarPlay (updated display 3se).

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?

Pod Point – but you can’t use the Hyundai card as only an app but with bp pulse & InstaVolt you can use your Hyundai card.

 

Please itemise where you’re saving money (or not) owning & running a Hyundai IONIQ

I charge once a week from home on the granny charger at a cost of around £5.50 when I was spending £20 a week on my Volvo XC90.
