Surprise us! Tell us something people wouldn’t readily know about this electric car

Being able to choose how economical you can be, rear view parking camera, quality feel about the car, very solid and comfortable, would be terrible to have any squeaks in such a quiet car.

What electric car(s) are you interested in next and why?

VW ID. 2 – more power and looks fantastic.

Home charging unit – outline both positive & negative elements

bp pulse – positives would be ease of use & price of charging; the negative is that it’s limited to 11kW, it would be nice to be able have the technology to charge faster.

Electricity supplier & tariff – outline both positive & negative elements

Cheap costs, intelligent charging & easy to use. No negatives so far.

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?

InstaVolt – ease of use, locations and speed. The only negative is the expensive cost of charging but I only do long distance journeys to Ireland twice a year.

Insurer – outline both positive & negative elements

LV= reasonable price and excellent cover, so good that I’ve been with them over 10 years; no negatives.

Please itemise where you’re saving money (or not) owning & running a MINI Electric

I have covered 4,862 miles in 15 months at 20p per kW so the total cost was £288. I’m now on a tariff of 7.5p per kW so that mileage would now cost £108!

Insurance is £498, car tax £165 & I have a 4 year servicing package which cost £269.
