Gary drives a Nissan LEAF SL 24kWh 2014 electric car.

This is Gary’s first electric car, he’s owned the Nissan LEAF between 7-8 years and drives under 5,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 10,000-20,000 miles and he achieves 75 miles range from a full charge.

The telematics unit became obsolete. I have to respond to the legal disclaimer declining permission to let the car communicate with Nissan, even though it can no longer do so. I have to ‘baby’ the 12-volt battery to keep it charged.

No faults

ChargePoint – because their rates seem reasonable and their charging stations are easy to operate.

Pekin Insurance has been very tolerant and helpful with my 12-volt battery problems one winter.
