Why did you choose this electric car?

It’s small but practical (5 doors, good sized boot). Good range for the price. Looks like a normal car. Dealership was very knowledgeable too. As soon as I drove it, I had to have it.

Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this electric car.

  • Drives really well
  • Looks good
  • Cheap to run
  • Well specced
  • Good range.

Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this electric car.

  • Laggy infotainment system
  • Range quite poor when very cold (120 miles)
  • Position of charge socket would be better at front.

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?

No faults

What are the standout tech features of your Corsa-e?

  • DAB radio
  • Heated seats & steering wheel
  • Lane assist

  • Reversing camera.

Surprise us! Tell us something people wouldn’t readily know about this Corsa-e.

It looks identical to the ICE version. Apart from the green flash on the number plate, you wouldn’t know.

What electric car are you interested in next and why?

Polestar, love the styling.

What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?

Pod Point solo (smart charger). Works well but I would prefer a zappi or similar now as I now have solar panels.

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?

Bulb – I would not recommend, they are useless. Pay 20p per kWh for 7 hours overnight. Trying to switch to their EV tariff but it’s proving impossible as they have installed a smart meter which hasn’t worked properly since it was installed 7 months ago. Avoid Bulb at all costs.

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?

Instavolt – they always just work and they have contactless payment too.

List your top 3 favourite public charging networks (in order of preference).

InstaVolt

Who do you insure your electric car with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
