Why did you choose the Kia EV6?

Because it is far and away the best EV currently available without paying a ridiculous price. It looks good, it’s great to drive, comfortable, fast to charge and there’s enough space in the back for two dogs!

The only thing negative is the owner’s manual which is over 600 pages!

What are the standout tech features of your EV6?

Ultra fast charging and long range.

None – I love my EV6!

bp pulse 7kW – it was a replacement swap for my old 3kW one.

eDF standard – it works out cheaper overall for me than any special EV tariff (though still expensive).

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?

IONITY (fast and reliable so far). Pod Point at my local Lidl – charges @50kWh while I do the shopping!

  • IONITY
  • Pod Point

Who do you insure your electric car with? Would you recommend them to others and why?

Direct Line – they were the cheapest in my case.
