This is Mark’s first electric car, he’s owned the I-PACE for over 2 years and drives between 10,000-15,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 20,000-30,000 miles and he achieves 215 miles range from a full charge.

Why did you choose the Jaguar I-PACE?

I have had Jaguars in the past and after test driving the I-PACE I was very impressed with the performance and comfort.

  • Cleaning it, lol!
  • windscreen wipers on auto don’t always come on early enough.

 

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?

Been in for a couple of computer updates.

 

What are the standout tech features of your Jaguar I-PACE?

The performance is amazing, charging at home so that you don’t have to ever go to a gas station, the dashboard is easy to read and gives lots of technical information more than most people would need. The car regenerates when braking, you only really need to use one pedal to drive as the car comes to a stop as you ease off the accelerator.

There is loads of luggage space, the rear seats go flat if required, the handling of the car is amazing & the white concentrated lowdown gets great performance.

 

What electric car are you interested in next and why?

Probably go for another Jaguar I-PACE but will wait and see what’s out.

Chargemaster unit – never had a problem.

ScottishPower – I’m waiting to get a duel rate so that I can charge off-peak.

Gridserve in most motorway services have recently been updated and work well.

One Call Insurance – very good, they deal with any queries very quickly.
