Why did you choose this car?
This is my 8th MINI so it was an easy choice to pick the MINI. It’s a little car and yes it doesn’t have a massive long range but it suits me getting to work every day. It also looks good!

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?
Only fault was the indicator lens on the wing mirror, it had condensation in it.
What are the standout tech features of the car?
I’m not very tech-minded however, the preconditioning stands out to me, so in the cold days I can precondition and get into a nice warm car.

People don’t know it’s electric unless I tell them as it looks just like the petrol version.

What car are you interested in next and why?
Would have to be another MINI or a CUPRA Born, my husband fancies one of those.
What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
We have an Ohme charger – I would recommend it, easy to use and one year on it’s given us no bother.

Octopus Go – works perfectly with my EV, only 5p kWh between 12.30-4am (at the moment) and can set it from my phone via the MINI app.

I have only ever used ChargePlace Scotland ones and have only used them twice, been lucky that they did work!
