Why did you choose this car?

- customer service
- had many ICE cars from this brand and never had any issues.
Positives
- Safety features
- spec
- comfort
- reliability.
Negatives
- Handling – does not hold grip very well when you use full power, although OK in a straight line. Hankook factory tyres are poor for gripping.
Compared to when you first bought the car, does your battery still charge at the same rate & do you still get the same range?
Great, no issues.
Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?
Connectivity – easily solved with an infotainment reset, once or twice a week.
What are the standout technological features of the car?
All driving aids in Technology Plus Pack, they’re not too intrusive. I especially like the adaptive cruise control.

Reliability, the whole package.
What electric car(s) are you interested in next and why?
BMW iX3 or Polestar 4

Please itemise where you’re saving money (or not) owning & running a BMW iX1
Oh yes, lots of money, at least £50 a week. It costs between £1-£2 a day to charge, that’s doing 50 to 70 miles a day, using a heavy right foot sometimes and a lot of stopping and starting!
