Plenty of USB C sockets (4)
Electricity supplier & tariff – outline both positive & negative elements
EDF variable rate – we have no choice as they cannot get a smart meter to work in our area. Also, no gas is available in the area.
What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?
I’m in Scotland so use ChargePlace Scotland. Some machines take ages to repair, there’s a lack of units above 50kW and damaged units often take a long time to repair. A great thing though is that one smart card works for most of Scotland. Also, I have Chargemap and Electroverse cards for when out of Scotland. Apps in Scotland are bad as there’s often no phone signal.
Insurer – outline both positive & negative elements
Hiscox via a broker.
Please itemise where you’re saving money (or not) owning & running a CUPRA Born
Charging in Fife (Scotland) is still free in some places. So I’m saving money on ‘fuel’ and the service intervals are longer than on an ICE.
