No faults as yet.

None compared to my experience with Tesla over the years. The ID light bar is nice and the LED headlights but that’s not really tech.

What electric car(s) are you interested in next and why?

Tesla Model S or Model 3 – because of the charging infrastructure, long range and the fabulous autopilot.

Home charging unit – outline both positive & negative elements

I’ve had a zappi smart charger for a few years and it’s been faultless plus a 3 phase charger.

Electricity supplier & tariff – outline both positive & negative elements

My provider is Octopus. I’m on a specific Tesla tariff as I also own a Tesla, solar panels and powerwall.

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?

IONITY, InstaVolt, GRIDSERVE multi-charge sites and Tesla Supercharger (non-Tesla sites).

Please itemise if you are or aren’t saving money owning & running a Volkswagen ID. Buzz

The cost of home charging is still much cheaper for me than fossil fuels. I am able to use my solar production to charge the car during the sunnier months.
