BMW iX3 2022 electric car owner review

Dale R drives a BMW iX3 80kWh 2022 electric car.

This is Dale’s first electric car, he’s owned the BMW iX3 from new and drives 15,000-20,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 0-500 miles and he achieves 200 miles range from a full charge.

Why did you choose the BMW iX3?

There is an incentive in getting a new car via a company salary sacrifice. The cost is the same as private but I get free insurance, servicing and tyres as well as the option of replacing it in 3 years time.

  • The reverse and parking assistance is very nice and smooth. There is limited information on how to get this to work but we figured if you press the button while just further ahead of the bay you wish to park in it works perfectly.
  • Driver profiles allow quick access when approaching the car. It takes some configuring but works very well if you forget your key.
