Surprise us! Tell us something people wouldn’t readily know about this electric car
For the price, it is the most efficient & comfortable car in its class. Nissan/RAC recovery is very efficient, I had to use it after my tyre was shredded on a major A road.
What electric car are you interested in next and why?
Hyundai IONIQ 5 or Kona. Both have a longer battery range than the LEAF and both feature a CCS rapid charge input. The IONIQ 5’s looks appeal over its competitors. However, I may be forced to switch to a hybrid owing to my flat having no access to a home charge point. The management committee and residents are reluctant to install them at the moment. This and the scarcity of public charging in West Sussex makes it difficult to justify. This is made worse by the long lead times for electric cars.
What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
N/A – not yet available as I’m in a flat.

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?
None are particularly outstanding due to breakdown. I’ve been told IONITY are good but there are none in my area.
List your top 3 favourite public charging networks (in order of preference)
None are outstanding due to unreliability. Only three are represented in preferred order:
1) Gridserve
2) bp pulse 7kW
3) bp pulse 3kW 👎
4) Shell Recharge 👎👎
Who do you insure your electric car with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Aviva – never needed to claim. They will hike the premium at renewal so will use GoCompare for a better deal.
