‘Ex-Volvo User’ surprisingly drives a Volvo XC40 Plus 66kWh 2024.

This is EVU’s second electric car, they’ve owned the Volvo XC40 less than a year and drives 5,000-10,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 5,000-10,000 miles and they achieve 160 miles from an 80% charge.

 

Why did you choose the Volvo XC40?

Changing from a Kia.

 

Positives 

  • Comfort
  • storage.

 

Negatives

  • Poor range
  • constant updates
  • aggressive safety systems
  • feels unsafe without auto braking
  • brakes without warning when approaching parked cars.

 

Compared to when you first bought the car, does your battery still charge at the same rate & do you still get the same range?
