This is Kevin’s second electric car, he’s owned the Alfa Romeo Junior from new and drives 5,000-10,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 500-1,000 miles and he achieves 230 miles from a full charge.
Why did you choose the Alfa Romeo Junior?
Love the electric experience and love Alfa Romeo!

- It was very expensive and for a car at this price point I was disappointed there were some features missing.
Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?
Not really but as a more mature driver I hate all the ADAS alarms and flashing lights.
What are the standout technological features of the car?
I’m not a big technology fan, the simpler the better.
Tell us something people wouldn’t readily know about your Alfa Romeo Junior
It still has that Alfa Romeo charm and personality despite it being fully electric.
What’s the biggest or funniest myth you’ve heard about EVs?
They burst into flames.
What electric car(s) are you interested in next and why?
Obviously my car is new and the technology is constantly evolving but I would definitely have another Alfa.

Ohme charger – there are no negatives, it’s great as long as you are on a cheap rate.
Electricity supplier & tariff
Octopus Go – they are excellent in my experience.
What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?
Very rare I use them but when I do I usually use InstaVolt.
Insurance
Co-op – cheap and no problems.
