Bultark drives a KIA EV6 77kWh 2023.
This is Bultark’s first electric car, he’s owned the KIA EV6 from new and drives 10,000-15,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 5,000-10,000 miles and he achieves 285 miles from a full charge.
Why did you choose the KIA EV6?
The pence per mile, height of driving and internal space.
Positives
- How smooth it drives
- how spacious it it
- loads of gadgets/features.
Negatives
- No rear windscreen wiper
- how small the ‘frunk’ is
- how dim the main beams are.
Compared to when you first bought the car, does your battery still charge at the same rate & do you still get the same range?
Yes (taking winter into consideration) but it is still very new.
Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?
None
What are the standout technological features of the car?
- Automatic headlights

What’s the biggest or funniest myth you’ve heard about EVs?
How people will randomly run out of charge and be stuck in the middle of nowhere.
What electric car(s) are you interested in next and why?
Whatever the next EV6 will be like. In 3 years battery technology will have moved on.

Hive – randomly goes offline and doesn’t always record when it charges.
Electricity supplier & tariff
Have kept with a standard tariff rather than an electric car one as I charge every 3-4 days and mostly work from home.
