Jaguar I-PACE 2020 electric car owner review

Jaguar I-PACE 2020 electric car owner review

Miles drives a Jaguar I-PACE EV400 90kWh 2020.

Miles has owned 5+ electric cars, he’s owned the Jaguar I-PACE 1-2 years and drives 5,000-10,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 20,000-30,000 miles and he achieves 230 miles from a full charge.

Why did you choose the Jaguar I-PACE?

The build quality and ride comfort is excellent. I’ve had a few Teslas which are great for tech but the build quality is poor. I started out with a Nissan LEAF, which I still have a soft spot for and my partner has one. The I-PACE is an excellent choice and has everything you’d expect from Jaguar, however, the lane keep assist/steering assist is quite poor. All other options work well and I’d recommend the HSE over the other models if you’re into your ‘toys’ and extras.

Compared to when you first bought the car, does your battery still charge at the same rate & do you still get the same range?

Yes! I’ve had no issues with any charging cycles and the range is always as expected.

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?

No faults.

What are the standout technological features of the car?

I don’t think any ‘technology features’ stand out as such and to be honest, the interface could do a lot more and it’s a shame as it doesn’t allow this.

Surprise us! Tell us something people wouldn’t readily know about this electric car

Wiring for illuminating tread plates is there under the standard tread plates if you choose to upgrade.

Reliable, no negatives.

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?
