Roger Green drives a Škoda ENYAQ iV RS Coupe 82kWh 2023.

This is Roger’s first electric car, he’s owned the Škoda ENYAQ Coupe from new and drives 10,000-15,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 5,000-10,000 miles and he achieves 260 miles from a full charge.

Why did you choose the Škoda ENYAQ Coupe?

Just wanted to use the solar panels and battery energy we have, so we could be a bit more green and help the environment. I also liked the look of the car and have had many Skodas previously.

All coupes have a full glass roof.

What’s the biggest or funniest myth you’ve heard about EVs?

None that I can think of.

What electric car(s) are you interested in next and why?

Uprated version of what I already have.

Home charging unit – outline both positive & negative elements

myenergi zappi – works well with my solar panels. Can sometimes have issues with connecting to the server but that can also be down to the mobile phone network & internet.

Electricity supplier & tariff – outline both positive & negative elements

Intelligent Octopus Go – gives me cheap rate overnight for both car and batteries.

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?

InstaVolt – this was the easiest to use of the few I have used. Generally, I don’t see why they all have to know everything about you before you can charge. Just let us rock up and charge like a petrol station!

Insurer – outline both positive & negative elements

Admiral
