Holind drives a Mustang Mach-E Long Range 2022 electric car. 

This is Holind’s first electric car, he’s owned the Mustang Mach-E from new and drives 10,000-15,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 1,000-5,000 miles and he achieves 290 miles range from a full charge.

Why did you choose this electric car?

The Tesla Model Y was not available and this was the best alternative.

  • Comfortable and practical.

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?

The navigation system is a little flaky. It thinks there are some 80mph roads in the UK???

 

What are the standout tech features of the car?

Nothing really stands out anymore than on any other EV. It just works well.

It’s a Ford and yet it’s a very good car and that certainly surprised me!

 

What electric car are you interested in next and why?

Tesla Model Y. I’ve always liked Tesla.

 

What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?

EO – yes, I would recommend it if you are looking for something small and unobtrusive but not if you want any fancy features.

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?

That depends on where you live. They all need to be maintained better but ChargePoint has been the best so far in England and ChargePlace Scotland is the best north of the border as it’s mostly free.

Privilege – honestly can’t say whether I would recommend them or not as apart from paying for the insurance I have had no other correspondence with them.
