This is John’s second electric car, he’s owned the MINI Electric from new and drives 5,000-10,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 1,000-5,000 miles and he achieves 140 miles range from a full charge.

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?

OVO Energy standard tariff – considering a night-time one but that will result in a higher day-time unit rate. May not bother though as my mileage is so low. Yes, I would recommend OVO, they’re as good as anyone else from what I’ve read.

IONITY – ease of use and availability are my main reasons.

MINI Flex – no contract & cheaper (for me!).
