Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this electric car.
- Efficiency
- warranty
- standard kit.
Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this electric car.
- Boot space could have had more design input and improved to accommodate more storage space
- Rattle sounds with doors, windows and dashboard, not great for a £40k car
- Paint work is thin too
- No frunk storage (purchased aftermarket)
- Kia UVO Connect app – connection issues, app displaying kms rather than miles
- Charge flap sticky during winter
- Service schedule at 10k or 1 year whichever comes first. Other manufacturers have longer service schedules.
- The e-Niro 2 has Android/Apple wireless but the top spec 4/4+ has to be wired to connect.
Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?
None
What are the standout tech features of your e-Niro?
- Adaptive cruise on the motorway, where it mirrors a lead vehicle and keeps to a safe distance e.g. you’ve set your cruise control at 70mph, a vehicle is on the same lane travelling at a slower pace. Your vehicle will match the lead vehicle’s speed (at a safe distance) and auto increase/decrease speed or stop if the lead vehicle slows to a stand still.
- 3 settings with regeneration.

What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
myenergy zappi – would recommend it only if you have solar. If you don’t have solar, it’s a waste of money for features that you’re not going to use.

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Octopus Go Faster – 5 hours of cheap electricity to charge the EV at 8p but the standing charge and day rate are high.
If you have battery storage like myself, I would recommend it.
