KM drives a Volkswagen ID. Buzz 77kWh 2023.

This is KM’s second electric car, he’s owned the ID. Buzz 1-2 years and drives 5,000-10,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 10,000-20,000 miles and he achieves 200 miles from an 80% charge.

 

Why did you choose the ID. Buzz?

We wanted a vehicle we could use for the day-to-day and go on weekend camping trips with family & pets.

Adaptive cruise control, driving and rear parking camera.

You can clear the windows by preconditioning the vehicle with an app before you leave the house.

 

What’s the biggest or funniest myth you’ve heard about EVs?

The batteries don’t last.

British Gas EV tariff – midnight to 5am.

 

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?

GRIDSERVE – used most often and you get a receipt once charging is finished.
