Gary B drives a BMW iX1 xDrive30 65kWh 2024 electric car.
This is Gary’s second electric car, he’s owned the iX1 xDrive30 from new and drives 15,000-20,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 500-1,000 miles and he achieves 220 miles range from a full charge.
Why did you choose the BMW iX1?
I wanted a decent-sized car with a good range and was tempted by the Tesla but I preferred the BMW for the higher driving position which provides greater visibility.

Compared to when you first bought the car, does your battery still charge at the same rate & do you still get the same range?
Too early to tell.

Not so far but I’ve only had it a month.
