This is Anonymous’s first electric car, they’ve owned the KIA EV6 from new and drive 10,000-15,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 10,000-20,000 miles and they achieve 260 miles from a full charge.
Why did you choose the KIA EV6?

- no rear windscreen wiper

That the tyres and brakes will wear out really quickly.
What electric car(s) are you interested in next and why?
Skoda ENYAQ because it has a huge boot.
Home charging unit – outline both positive & negative elements
Sync EV – no negatives, just works well.
Electricity supplier & tariff – outline both positive & negative elements
Intelligent Octopus Go – good value when it works but struggles to control the charging schedule sometimes; then I’m charged at the high rate for charging the car because Octopus continues to charge the car once its original schedule has ended.
What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?
Haven’t found a reliable and affordable one in the UK yet that I would recommend.
Please itemise where you’re saving money (or not) owning & running a KIA EV6
It’s a company car so I’m saving on BIK tax and the cost per mile to fuel is tiny compared to my previous petrol car. I save about £500 per month.
