Renault Zoe 2021 electric car owner review

Lozlis drives a Renault Zoe ZE50 GT Line 52kWh 2021.

This is Lozlis’s third electric car, they’ve owned the Renault Zoe from new and drive 5,000-10,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 10,000-20,000 miles and they achieve 190 miles from a full charge.

Why did you choose the Renault Zoe?

Zoes are the best small EV!

Android Auto integration is quite smooth.

FIAT 500e – the wife likes the car, for me the Tesla Model Y or possibly the Ford Explorer.

Home charging unit – outline both positive & negative elements

Polar charger installed in 2016, never an issue with it and it was free. No intelligence so cannot get the intelligent tariff from Octopus (but the Zoe is not supported either).

Please outline both positive & negative elements of your electricity supplier & tariff?

Octopus Go Faster 6 hours – very good average rate 24p/kWh.

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?

Pod Point – mainly at railway stations.

Please itemise where you’re saving money (or not) owning & running an electric car

It’s a company car so I save a lot of tax around £2k/year.
