Peter drives a KIA Niro EV 4 64kWh 2022.

This is Peter’s second electric car, he’s owned the Niro EV less than a year and drives 10,000-15,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 5,000-10,000 miles and he achieves 275 miles from a full charge.

  • Sat nav very basic and often suggests strange routes
  • narrow gap between driver’s seat and central console makes it difficult to buckle safety belt
  • reverse camera not so good at night.

Bearing in mind the present high tariffs for all, I’m satisfied with the present off-peak rate.

 

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?

GRIDSERVE, Pod Point and bp are all simple to use. However, from experience, check via Zap-Map before heading for the charging location to make sure they are working.
