What electric car(s) are you interested in next and why?
MG ZS EV – it has more space
Home charging unit – outline both positive & negative elements
Rolec – it just works every time. I can set it to smart charge during off-peak times to reduce my costs. The app integration works very well and it integrates with solar and grid nicely.
Electricity supplier & tariff – outline both positive & negative elements
Shell Economy 7 – it gives me a huge 7hrs at 17p per kWh. It’s better than others that have a lower price but only for 4hrs.
What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?
The network has generally been good though bp pulse have been the least reliable. I wouldn’t trust them to be ‘there when you want them’.

LV – very competitive and easy to deal with.
Please itemise where you’re saving money owning & running a Kona Electric
Servicing costs have dropped & ‘fuel’ costs have dropped. Wear and tear has also dropped, e.g. my tyres have lasted longer and the brakes are only 5% worn after 30k miles. I’m saving in total about £300 a month.
