Why did you choose the Hyundai Kona Electric?
Bit of a treat! Fully packed out with features, wanted generous range. Colour! Wanted to move away from boring “grey” cars. Wanted a taller entry/exit than previous car. Wanted to try all the driver assistance features available from one of the leading EV manufacturers.

- Design
- Ease of driving/operating
- Overall comfort.

- Slightly cramped rear seats
- Slightly small on boot space for the size of vehicle
- Phone – CarPlay is wired-only and positioning it and keeping cable tidied and not kinked (so it eventually fails) is fairly impossible.

- Blind spot warning
- Adaptive cruise control – seems just so competent
- Cooled front seats (as well as heated)
- App to allow remote access and features
- Smart regenerative braking.

There’s just about the limit of power going through the front wheels. I don’t normally like a FWD car but it is a hoot when it scrabbles for grip!
What electric car are you interested in next and why?
Vauxhall Mokka-e Elite Premium – a little cheaper, many similar features, might be more engaging to drive, colour!
