Why did you choose this electric car?

We were replacing an old diesel VW Golf that we loved and we’re trying to get an electric equivalent to the Golf. We test drove the ID.3 and loved it (ID.4 felt too big). They had a few pre-registered cars so we grabbed one!

 

Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this electric car

  • Amazing to drive – especially the acceleration & smoothness
  • Roomy inside plus glass roof
  • Feels high up
  • Compact to park
  • Economical to charge.

 

Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this electric car

  • Seats take ages to crank up manually to a different height & sometimes jam (2 different drivers) but love the heated seats
  • Sat nav not great
  • Someone just drive into the car & bashed it – worried it will be hard to get fixed due to parts shortages.

 

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?

Has to have its 12v battery changed – not a fault we noticed though.

 

What are the standout tech features of the car?

Heated seats!!
