Kevin drives a Renault Zoe GT Line 50kW 2021 electric car.

This is Kevin’s third electric car, he’s owned the Zoe from new and drives between 15,000-20,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 5,000-10,000 miles and he achieves 200 miles range from a full charge.

Why did you choose this electric car?

Good range and now there’s only my wife & I at home it’s a great size for our daily needs.

  • No height adjustable seat
  • No side airbag
  • Inside storage is not very good.

 

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?

None at all

 

What are the standout tech features of the car?

  • Android auto is faultless
    Lane assistant and LED headlights are great.

Don’t really know, I think anyone who drives an EV would find it easy to drive.

ID.3 or ORA Cat because of the tech.

 

What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?

zappi – it’s so easy and if you have solar panels just plug it in and forget it.

Octopus is the best energy supplier I have been with. They’re really quick in replying to my e-mails.

Osprey and InstaVolt have never let me down yet. Although, I have just started using the Bonnet app.

Hastings Direct – I have renewed the last 2 years and it’s been the same price as my old ICE car.
