Size and not a Tesla.

  • It’s big
  • It’s cheap to lease
  • It can do around 250 miles on a full charge
  • Its a Jaguar.

  • It’s heavy
  • It can only charge at 100kw
  • Software updates randomly disable features for a day or two.

Tesla Model 2 – Ford focus-sized 300 mile range at a reasonable price.

Shell NewMotion – rubbish, dumb, same price as better charging units.

 

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
EON standard tariff – OK, might upgrade to their EV tariff if I used the car more.

 

What public charging networks do you use? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Instavolt – never failed and easy to use but only 50Kw.

 

Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Its a company sacrifice lease so insurance included.
