Why did you choose this car?
My wife commutes 100 miles per day. We were spending £550 per month on fuel between us. The lease price was £460 per month so it was a no brainer. We looked at a Tesla Model 3 but the Polestar 2 was a hatchback, the Tesla isn’t and I preferred the looks and the thought of using the Google operating system.

- It could have more apps on the App store.

Surprise us! Tell us something surprising about this car?
I do really like being surprised when I get in the car on a cold morning and the pre-heated cabin greets me. It’s a simple thing but so so welcome.
What car are you interested in next and why?
Hyundai IONIQ 5. I will always buy electric now and the IONIQ 5 looks great and it will give us that longer range and also quicker charging. I love the retro 80s pixel design touches.
What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Pod Point – I would recommend if you just want a simple, reliable charger where you can schedule your charge times to suit your electricity tariff. It also gives you a breakdown of how much you’ve spent if you like that sort of thing.

What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Octopus Go – I would recommend. Between 12:30 & 4:30am you get very cheap electricity. Ideal to top up your car every day. If you have a short commute you’ll start every day on a full charge.

What public charging networks do you use? Would you recommend them to others and why?
I’ve used IONITY a few times when going on holiday and they’ve been fast and reliable. However having a home charger means we rarely use them.
Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
It’s a lease through salary sacrifice so all running costs including insurance is included, apart from charging.
