Tell us something people wouldn’t readily know about your Nissan LEAF
The whole experience of driving electric is a delight. Even after 7 years I still feel excited each time I get in my EV. I’ve never been really bothered about cars before but EVs are amazing!
What’s the biggest or funniest myth you’ve heard about EVs?
- That they’ll set on fire – truth is they’re at least 20 times less likely to
- The battery will be useless pretty quickly – truth is they will probably outlast the car
- They’re expensive to buy & run – truth is, they’re incredibly cheap to run & with solar they are free to run. With a bit of shopping around they are now more than affordable & are the best investment in private transport I have ever made and I’m 77.
What electric car(s) are you interested in next and why?
Possibly the all-new Nissan Micra.

Intelligent Octopus Go

Insurance
