Rate the electric car on its exterior
What did you like/dislike like about the exterior?
Very stylish and modern looking car, charging port in a sensible place compared with our current EV. Only thing I wasn’t keen on was the colour but that’s only because I don’t like grey as a car colour.
Rate the electric car on its interior
What did you like/dislike like about the interior?
Loved the interior. Not cocooning like some cars with the way the centre console runs completely from dash to nearly the rear of the front seats. Well positioned information screen and instrument cluster screen. I like where the drive selector is on the steering column rather than the centre console. The adjustable 2nd cup holder is a great idea and the central rear seat armrest has a clever cup holder and phone holder arrangement. The seats were comfortable and are heated, as is the steering wheel even on the base model. The climate control system is controlled by buttons rather than on a screen.
Rate the electric car for its tech features
What did you like/dislike about the tech features?
The openR link system looks slick and the ability to have sat nav on the instrument panel is something I’ve missed from our current car. From what I’ve read and seen the system will take some time to learn but it’s much more intelligent than what we have now. It has a heat pump as standard (something new to me), heated seats and steering wheel, integrated charging options within the sat nav system (powered by Google) and it’ll even precondition the battery prior to charging to get the best charging speed possible. It also comes with an electric tailgate (something else we miss). Haven’t had long enough with the car to figure out what I dislike about it but as we have ordered one I’m sure I’ll get to know it better!
Rate the electric car for how it drives
What did you like/dislike like about how it drove?
It is very quick and responsive even in Comfort mode (didn’t know how to change it from that on the test drive!). The suspension is so much better than our current car, riding over speed bumps with a lot less of a jolt. The reversing camera works fine, not quite the 180 degree view on our current car but it will suffice. Definitely the best car I have ever driven.
Did you purchase the make & model you test drove?
