This is Rory’s third electric car, he’s owned the Model 3 4-5 years and drives 5,000-10,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 40,000-50,000 miles and he achieves 250 miles range from a full charge.

Compared to when you first bought the car, does your battery still charge at the same rate & do you still get the same range?
Charges at the same rate, range is about 5% down. After 5 years, that’s great.
Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?
A few minor faults including manufacturer recalls, all have been fixed under warranty.
What are the standout technological features of the car?
Extensive entertainment options, some integration with tech e.g. Google Maps.

Pod Point Solo – reasonably reliable with a few tech issues.
Electricity supplier & tariff
Intelligent Octopus Go – cheap rates at night AND when the grid is clean. They manage my charging for me.
What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?
Tesla Superchargers & Osprey, although expensive.
Insurer
Admiral – consistently the best price. Never had to use them, however.
