Hyundai to launch new in-car streaming feature with Amazon Music & all-new Kona Electric

Hyundai Motor is launching in-car music streaming.

It’s a feature that will let customers stream their favourite tunes directly in their cars, starting from the upcoming all-new Kona Electric.

Amazon Music will be the first streaming service to participate with in-car streaming. The announcement comes as Amazon Music continues to expand into the realm of automotive entertainment.

The in-car streaming feature allows Amazon Music subscribers to enjoy their favourite songs while on the road, all without incurring any additional data charges during a three-year complimentary period of Bluelink.

Customers with an Amazon Music subscription and valid Bluelink activation, with the Bluelink app linked to the driver’s profile and the vehicle, will have access to their favourite music and playlists on the go.

Further developments such as voice commands for selecting specific songs or artists via voice recognition will be rolled out at a later stage. This voice feature will enable drivers to interact with the service safely and intuitively, making it even easier to curate the perfect driving playlist.
