Vauxhall Vivaro Life Electric 2023 van owner review

Jon drives a Vauxhall Vivaro Life Electric Ultimate 50kWh 2023.

This is Jon’s first electric van, he’s owned the Vivaro Life from new and drives 20,000-30,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the van is between 1,000-5,000 miles and he achieves 120 miles from a full charge.

Why did you choose the Vauxhall Vivaro Life Electric?

We needed something that could fit 7 people and still have space for luggage and my partner’s powerchair. The Vivaro has plenty of space and suits our needs perfectly.

Would be nice to have a bit more range but it’s fine for us.

  • Ability to pre-heat in a morning

Surprise us! Tell us something people wouldn’t readily know about this electric van

To me it really doesn’t feel like you are driving a 3-tonne, 5.3 metre long vehicle.

What electric van(s) are you interested in next and why?

Hopefully something similar sized to the Vivaro but with a bigger battery and range.

Do you charge your electric van from home?

No

Do you use public charging networks?

Yes

What public charging networks would you recommend to others and why?

Only used bp pulse – not the fastest and I know people slate them but for us they have worked every time and we’ve used them just about everyday since we got the car.

Please itemise where you’re saving money (or not) owning & running a Vauxhall Vivaro Like Electric

Fuel from previous (petrol) car was costing around £120 a week, this costs us about £60-£70.
