Why did you buy the Kia EV6?
Had a PHEV (BMW X3 30e) and wanted to convert to 100% electric. BMW could not provide any alternative as the iX3 only has RWD and very low towing limit and (in Sweden) a crazy price level. From test results, the Kia EV6 was the best alternative.

What got you into an electric car in the first place?
Environmental thinking, the cost of driving combined with using solar panels which gives an almost CO2 free driving.
Initially, what did you find most confusing about electric car ownership and how did you solve that?
Driving range and possibility of charge, that’s why I started with a PHEV but after analysing our driving pattern, it didn’t create an issue. I have charge units at both vacation and main residence.
What sources of information helped you e.g. people, groups, websites etc?
Car magazines, Facebook groups & YouTube.
What are your top 3 pieces of advice for those people considering their first electric car?
- Analyse your own driving pattern
- realize that (somewhat) reduced speed takes you faster to the goal, it reduces consumption and thus decreases charge time.
