This is Paul’s first electric car, he’s owned the Corsa-e 1-2 years and drives 10,000-15,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 0-500 miles and he achieves 150 miles range from a full charge.

Why did you choose the Vauxhall Corsa-e?

Hot deal on a lease. Wanted an electric car but wasn’t fussed about the brand.

 

Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this electric car.

  • The electric driving itself is brilliant
  • fun to drive
  • easy to charge at home.

 

Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this electric car.

  • Vauxhall (Stellantis group) make awful cars
  • it’s poorly built
  • the Corsa is a beta car full of bugs, random faults appear and go
  • Vauxhall themselves rip you off with service costs and don’t have enough techs trained on EVs.

 

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?

Just the other day got electric traction control fault (modern engine management light) fixed myself by disconnecting the 12 volt battery.

 

What are the standout tech features of the car?

Regen breaking and pre-conditioning.

Anything Nissan, Tesla Hyundai or Kia. Maybe MG too, something better made.

Pod Point – very good. Does it’s job.
