I charge once or twice a week, depending on usage. I charge for a maximum of 5 hours at a time to tie in with my off-peak electricity rate.

If you were buying a new charging unit now, what would you buy and why?

Would still buy Pod Point due to the positive experience.

Tell us about your electricity provider and tariff. Would you recommend them?

Octopus Go Faster – yes, would recommend as it provides a very cheap rate between 8.30pm and 1.30am. This allows me to schedule use of dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer etc as well as charging my car at this time.

Are you part of a charger-sharing scheme for those who don’t have their own charger?

No
