Why did you choose this electric car?

At the time there wasn’t the choice there is now and the availability of some cars involved a 12 month wait. The main competitor was the Nissan LEAF but I thought it was expensive for 8 year old technology.

Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this electric car.

  • A bigger battery please

The central locking is temperamental.

  • modern liquid cooled battery and air con
  • heat pump.

Surprise us! Tell us something people wouldn’t readily know about this electric car.

The acceleration up to 30mph is awesome! This car is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

What electric car are you interested in next and why?

Anything that is now called ‘long range’.

What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?

Pod Point single phase 7.2kW came with the car. The App which allows you to set a charging schedule is very useful. The unit is inside my garage but I can run the cable under the door if my car is outside. Therefore, I am not advertising that I have an electric car.
