This is Sam’s first electric car, she’s owned the 500e from new and drives between 5,000-10,000 miles annually. The current mileage of the car is between 5,000-10,000 miles and she achieves 160 miles range from a full charge.

Why did you choose this electric car?
I own an Abarth and am incredibly loyal to the brand and have not been disappointed.

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?
Nope. Every now and again it beeps when you lock him and changes to km not miles but that’s it.
What are the standout tech features of your FIAT 500e?
It’s a cracking little motor for small everyday use. I’d not buy it if I had to bomb up and down a motorway every day. It’s stylish and really well made, safe too.

People really don’t ‘get’ EVs, you need to get into one and try it. You will not be disappointed.

The eBarth! To go with my Abarth.
What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
I have never invested in a wall box and use the one supplied with the car that is hardwired into a granny plug. He charges overnight no problem at all. Recommend you try that before more financial outlays.

Hard to get special rates at the moment. We looked at cheaper rates at night but it doesn’t work with our lifestyle.

Tesco! It’s free. To be honest, not being a martyr, we use ours at home mostly so the public chargers are available for those who need them more.

Don’t know. Hubby insured him.
