What was your dealership experience like?
Fantastic! The car was brought to my house, everything was explained, I was shown around the car, how the controls worked, how to change to One Pedal Drive etc.

What were your first impressions of the car?
Loved it from the moment I got in it. Everything felt solid, upmarket and intuitive. I liked the more ‘cockpit’ feel of the car over other EVs which in my mind at least, can be a bit like sitting on the front bench seat of an old Transit van. I liked the clear instruments and the display where traditional clocks/instruments would be. The thrust from the single motor version is more than ample: the 0-60 times of the dual motor and other more powerful EVs is in my mind just pub bragging rights and the single motor with its extended range is an ideal choice.

Positives – List 3 or more things you liked about the car.

  • Quality
  • refinement
  • purity of design.

Negatives – List 3 or more things you didn’t like about the car.

  • The ‘packs’ are odd to say the least. I wanted the panoramic roof and heat pump – not bothered by fancy stereo and different interior. I would have like adaptive cruise control & blind spot warning but didn’t want to pay for lane assist and 360 cameras. It would be better to ‘pick and mix’. Some options should be standard at this level.

Did you purchase the make & model you test drove or another EV from the same manufacturer?
Yes.

What specification did you go for?
Long range, single motor, Plus pack & Magnesium paint.

How did you purchase the vehicle?
Lease – salary sacrifice.

When do you expect to take delivery of your EV?
1-2 months.
