Why did you choose this car?
Great range, wonderful acceleration, fantastic safety features and something I had wanted to own from the moment they were announced a few years ago. Sadly, I had a deposit on a Tesla 3 from when they were launched but slow delivery meant that I had to lease a car for 3 years. So now I am finally in the Tesla and love the comfort, excellent build quality and the minimal interior.

I would like Apple CarPlay but hopefully that will come if Tesla begin an App Store. Otherwise, the car is great and the Supercharger network really made up my mind for Tesla over the competition (Kia, Hyundai, Ford, Audi) and has been everything and more than I could have hoped for.

Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this car.

  • Comfortable
  • Quiet
  • Agile.

Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this car.

  • No Apple CarPlay
  • No rear windscreen wiper
  • Windscreen wiper controls.

Have you experienced any faults with the car? If so, what have they been?
None.

What are the standout tech features of the car?
The navigation is fantastic and does identify Superchargers on long journeys. More than that though is the comfort of the driver’s seat, the heating of it and the steering wheel on cool or cold days and the fantastic sound system.

Surprise us! Tell us something people wouldn’t readily know about this car.
It holds golf clubs, trolley, golf shoes and large overnight bag in the trunk with room to spare. Just not possible in a VW Golf or many of the Audi models I might have chosen.

What car are you interested in next and why?
Not – I have this and expect to drive it for at least 100,000 miles. By then the whole EV landscape could be very different or we may be on to EV ridesharing.

What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
About to have a zappi installed for emergencies. Normally charge at work on a 11kW Rolec device.
