Why did you choose this car?
Its driving dynamics, all its ‘toys’ and the familiarity after previously owning an i3 (which the MINI shares its drivetrain with).
Positives – List 3 or more reasons why you love this car.
- Cheap to run
- smooth
- quick.
Negatives – List 3 or more things that you really don’t like about this car.
- The ride is a little firm on 17” wheels but expected in a MINI
- would have liked adaptive cruise but not available on pre-facelift cars
- rear space could be better.

It has a heartbeat. When you lock it, the ring around the central display pulses like a heartbeat which gradually fades away
What car are you interested in next and why?
I would love to stay within the BMW Group so maybe an i4 but that’s a long way off, for financials reasons.

Wallbox Pulsar Plus – a fantastic neat and tidy little charger.

Octopus Go – just the go to for EV tariffs.

ChargePlace Scotland or Gridserve (only on trip to IKEA in Edinburgh).
