Why did you choose this car?
It was an estate, I needed a practical car and was disappointed at other affordable models. They were often SUV types or expensive. The MG5 was cost-effective and a friend was very positive about the ZS.

What car are you interested in next and why?
Would consider an electric van when ranges and prices improve, it gives me flexibility to move larger items.
What home charging unit do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Viridian, if they want a dumb charger. I specifically bought it because it was local, the supplier really helpful and I wanted to add my own smart controller. It is excellent.
What home electricity supplier & tariff do you use? Would you recommend it to others and why?
Bulb – I wanted an eco-sensitive supplier, however we have solar so there was no drive for cheaper night plans.
What public charging networks do you use? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Almost never use. I had one Ecotricity fail, one created a dealer-only fixable fault and a new Gridserve charger that worked seamlessly. I am probably not the best to recommend as we pretty much only charge from home.
Who do you insure your EV with? Would you recommend them to others and why?
Aviva – they were competitive and my normal insurer does not yet cover EVs.
